Dear Yvonne: the photo at the top of this page is SO CUTE! Elizabeth looks JUST LIKE MOM on this one!

    Congratulations to your DIVAS!

    Love, LaRhonda

  2. A topic close to my heart thanks. Needed more pictures though.

  3. Bernard says:

Congratulations for winning the USTA National Opens in July as an unseeded player. Why has Elizabeth not played any ITF tournaments? Elizabeth is an inspiration to my ten-year old tennis playing daughter who was diagnosed with diabetes at the same age.

  4. Yvonne says:

Hi Bernard, sorry for the delay in getting back with you. Thank you too! Can’t wait to see the rankings after the Hardcourts in Georgia. It’s good to hear about Elizabeth being an inspiration to your daughter! This is what this site is about motivating others and helping others. We all too often hear about the negatives, but the positives are there too in reaching for your dreams in spite of a chronic illness. Liz was scheduled to play a ITF in New Jersey, but with all the tournaments, she needs a rest, both girls. They start up again in another national tournament Sept. 3-6, so they need some time off to work with their coach and fitness trainer. She was scheduled to play this spring in some itf, but was injured and had to recuperate for several weeks. So, hopefully soon she will start playing those as well. Going to be updating shortly so please continue to follow us and spread the word. Cheers!
